We met Emily and Rick on an open day at the Love Szalon where they asked for an appointment for a dress rehearsal. It turned out that they are going to get married in China at the end of March and they wanted to give their guests a surprise photo series made in Budapest at popular places like Parliament, the Castle district and the Chaine Bridge. They work and live here for 6 years and they are in love with the city ever since. Due to their enthusiasm things went quickly: Emily found her dream wedding dress and on the other day during make up trial we were already speaking about the details of the photo shooting of next week.
After the make up and the preparation we started at Szentendre, luckily in sunny weather. We continued the shooting at the Castle area, the Matthias Church, and a few photos were taken in the evening, as well. Despite of the cold they didn’t stop smiling.
I like this city, but sometimes I take places for granted, which are special for people from abroad. I feel grateful to them because their “I love Budapest” attitude made my way of taking photos different at the well-known places.
Check out some of their photos. Hopefully none of their guests will check our site before the wedding
